Frequently Asked Questions
- How do I book a shuttle with Lost in Lanka?
You can book directly on our website using the “Book Your Ride” button. Payments are made securely online. For same day bookings, please call or message our WhatsApp number before booking.
- Is it door to door pick-up and dropoff?
In Ella and Hiriketiya, pick-up and drop-off is generally at the designated location. Door to door can be accommodated in some cases, contact us to discuss.
In all other towns, door to door is possible providing you are along the main beach road or within a few minutes drive.
- What if I am in a town not listed in the stops?
It is possible to be picked up or dropped off from towns which are not listed on the Ella or Airport Route. However it must be on the way of the route. Please contact us to discuss.
- Are there group or mulitiple person discounts?
Yes, if you are booking for 3 or more people, we can offer an additional 10% discount. Use the booking code ‘traveltribe’ which can used in combination with hostel booking codes.
- How much luggage can I bring and are surfboards allowed?
Each passenger is allowed 1 large backpack or suitcase. Additional small bags can be carried by your feet or lap for the journey. Additional large bags may not fit depending on the number of passengers, be sure to have correct number when booking.
Surfboards are welcome at no extra charge if notified beforehand.
- What is the cancellation/refund policy?
If your booking is cancelled more than 24 hours before your booking, you will be issued a full refund. Any cancellations within 24 hrs are nonrefundable. Contact us via WhatsApp for any cancellation requests.
